Retention marketing · Email · SMS · WhatsApp

You already
paid for
these customers.

RetainFLOW builds the lifecycle flows, writes the campaigns and designs the emails that bring buyers back — so your second, third and fourth orders stop depending on ad spend.

Where the money goes

Seven leaks in a
typical Klaviyo account.

Not one of these needs more traffic to fix. They're all downstream of a customer who has already met your brand — which is why retention pays back faster than acquisition.

What we run

The whole retention channel,
end to end.

You approve, we ship. Strategy, copy, design, build, QA, send and reporting all sit with us — including the parts most agencies quietly skip.

The build

Nine flows, and what
each one is actually for.

Most accounts have four of these, half-finished. Pick one to see the sequence we ship — the day it fires, the angle each message takes and which channel carries it.

Design

Emails built to be read
on a phone, in four seconds.

Every send is designed around one job: the click. Pick a message type to see how the structure changes — these are live renders, not screenshots, so tap any one to open it full length.

Redesign

Same offer. Same list.
Drag the handle.

The email on the left is what most abandoned-cart flows look like after two years of nobody touching them. The one on the right is the same message, rebuilt around a single click.

What changed
One decision, not four
Four links became one button. The email's only job is the click.
The cart is visible
The actual item, its size and its price — not a generic reminder that "you left something behind".
Objection before offer
Returns, shipping and the warranty answer the reason they stopped. The discount stays out of it.
Readable at arm's length
18px body minimum, a 50px tap target, and a headline that works with images off.
Three channels, one plan

Email carries the argument.
SMS and WhatsApp close it.

Most agencies bolt SMS on and never touch WhatsApp. Run separately they annoy people; run as one calendar with a single frequency cap, each one does the job the others can't.

Three ways to work together

Start small if you'd rather.
Most people do.

Nobody should commit to a year on a first call. The pilot exists so you can see the work before the commitment, and it's the one most brands take. Scope and cost are worked out on the call, once we've seen the account — there's no point quoting a number before that.

Design by industry

Every D2C category
emails differently.

A supplement email and a jewellery email should not look like the same template with the logo swapped. Pick a segment to see the design we'd start from and the three conventions that category actually rewards.

What's the gap
worth to you?

Drag your numbers in. We compare where your retention channel sits today against the benchmark band healthy DTC accounts land in — 30–50% of store revenue from email and SMS, with flows carrying 40–60% of that.

Directional estimate, not a forecast. It applies published DTC benchmark ranges to the numbers you entered — your category, margin and list health all move the real answer. We give you the real one on the teardown call.

How we report

Attributed revenue
is not added revenue.

A Klaviyo dashboard counts every buyer who touched an email on the way to checkout — including the ones who were already coming back. That number goes up whether or not we did anything useful.

So we hold out a randomised slice of your list from a campaign or flow, then compare. The difference between the two groups is the revenue that would not have existed. That's the number on your report, and it's the number we're judged on.

Same campaign · two ways to count
Platform-attributed revenue$48,200
Incremental vs holdout$19,900

Illustrative. The point isn't that attribution lies — it's that the two numbers answer different questions, and only one of them tells you whether to keep paying us.

First 30 days

Live in two weeks.
Measured by week four.

No three-month discovery phase. The audit and the build run in parallel, because the fastest thing we can do for you is get a broken flow sending correctly.

Day 0–2

Teardown

We subscribe, buy, abandon a cart and map what your account actually sends. You get the findings whether or not you hire us.

Day 3–5

Plan & access

Flow architecture, segment logic, sending calendar and a design direction signed off before anything is built.

Day 6–14

Build

Core flows rebuilt or written from scratch, pop-up live, deliverability cleaned up, first campaigns queued.

Day 15–30

Send & test

Full calendar running, two meaningful tests a week, holdouts set on the flows that carry the most revenue.

Ongoing

Compound

Monthly report on repeat rate, time between orders and incremental revenue. Winners get resent, losers get cut.

What actually lands in your inbox

Eleven documents.
Here they all are.

Agencies describe their reporting. These are the real artifacts, filled in — open any one and read it end to end. Figures are illustrative; the structure is exactly what you get, from the teardown on day two to the Slack update every Monday.

Straight answers

How this differs from
the last agency.

The number we report on

Not revenue. Retention
by the month they joined.

Every column is how many of that month's new customers were still buying, n months later. Fixing the flows shows up here as the lower rows staying flatter for longer — which is the whole job.

Lower retentionHigher

Illustrative shape, not a client account. Yours gets built from your own order data in week one.
